Meet the Owner
Since 1983, Mr. Rich Siddons has specialized in the field of security systems design. Over the past 37 years as a justice facilities specialist, Rich has had a leadership responsibility for security planning and programming, detention equipment design, specifications and specialized construction administration for justice facilities across the nation. Rich will help investigate various operational configurations for the Justice, Public Safety and Law enforcement community system as well as help forecast staffing cost and write the operational program for the plan.
As physical security designer, Rich will have a leadership responsibility for security programming and design, and specialized construction administration. During planning, Rich will lead security workshops with the State and users to understand operational goals and needs. During the development and design of the security systems, he will work with the client, designers, project architects, and engineering subconsultants to ensure these systems are integrated and coordinated into the facility design. He is also responsible for shop drawing review, construction field observation and comprehensive and final punch out of security related items. His technical expertise has repeatedly served as a valuable resource on projects, both new and existing, design through construction, staff training andtransition. Rich is held in high regard in the detention/corrections community and is known for his responsiveness, knowledge, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Led by Mr. Rich Siddons as Owner / Security Specialist, the RS Security, LLC team will assist in developing a successful design which is responsive to the specialized operational, security, and budgetary aspects. Rich is well-versed in sorting through operational issues and making sure that they are properly integrated into the planning and building systems. His detailed hands-on approach is a resource to the entire team to assure the proper integration of the owner’s requirements.
